One day, a wise sage named Mahipati visited their town. To teach Rama Natha a lesson, the sage told him he could make the potion using five litres of winter dew collected from banana leaves.
Believing this, Rama Natha planted a huge banana plantation and worked tirelessly for six years to collect the dew, while his wife sold the harvested bananas in the market. When he brought the dew to the sage, it failed to turn copper into gold, making Rama Natha angry. The sage then revealed a box of gold coins Madhumati had earned from selling the bananas. Rama Natha finally realized that hard work, not magic, is the true source of wealth.
